Front Office Coordinator
Our office is seeking an Experienced Front Desk Coordinator. We are a Specialist office and while we do not deal with a large volume of patients that General Dentists see, our patients are very specialized and our schedule is managed to accommodate the time they need. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm. We are very fortunate to have a team of assistants who genuinely love what they do, the team they work with, and they will go out of their way to help their fellow teammates, our patients, and our Doctor. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A TRUE PROFESSIONAL THAT IS NATURALLY COMPASSIONATE - after all, our Front Desk Coordinator is the first and last point of contact that our patients have with our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the business office, including not limited to:
Maintenance of the records of patients, scheduling of patients, (both phone and email) understanding and effectively be able to communicate about the dynamics of a Fee for Service office, asking for and receiving payments from patients, maintaining appearance and order of dental office, uphold a professional appearance at all times, understand and comply with HIPPA and the HI-TECH Act of 2009, and manages our recall/recare system. This individual will also be responsible for receiving/shipping of lab items as well direct communication with our referring dental offices.
Specifically, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
1. High school diploma
2. Minimum of 2 years experience with dental front office
3. Experience with Dentrix Practice Management Software as well as basic office systems like outlook, excel, word document, and adobe.
4. Ready and available professional references from previous employers and coworkers.
5. A team player and able to adapt to office policy improvements (office is constantly striving for improved customer care/service).
6. Conflict resolution experience. We like to get along, and we love our patients and our team. We are looking for someone who can spot a potential problem and resolve it before it becomes an issue.
7. Customer service and patient relations experience. Quick response/accurate data entry with the ability to multi-task.
8. Experience and true understanding of what it means to manage the appointment system effectively.9. Accuracy, Honesty, Integrity, takes initiative, DETAIL ORIENTED and an ability to always see room for improvement within one's own performance. MUST BE ABLE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS and document well.
10. Must be bilingual
