Dr. Joel Diaz, DMD, MSD
A native from Puerto Rico, Dr. Díaz-Arana is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus, School of Dentistry. He subsequently pursued a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York. He received his Prosthodontics residency training from the University of Texas, Health Science Center at Houston, School of Dentistry. Upon completion of his residency, he served in the United States Air Force as an active-duty Prosthodontist at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. He was also appointed Assistant Professor in the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Dr. Díaz-Arana received fellowship training in Oral Oncology and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at the prestigious M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. His unique background and training enable him to provide comprehensive tailored Dental Prosthetics and Maxillofacial Rehabilitations.
Dr. Díaz-Arana resides in the North San Antonio area and is married to his charming wife, Gabriella. When he is not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, traveling, and the outdoors.
